Step 1: Build the Wax-Ground Glass, Pg. 2

4. Touch the wax surface!

Carefully touch the wax surface with the glass-sandwich. Through capillary action the wax is climbing up very fast.

5. Cool down!

Put your wax ground glass in the refrigerator (about 30 seconds) or let it cool down slowly.  (I haven't seen any differences in the grain between fast cooling in the refrigerator or slowly cooking.)
