Award of SuperiorityAs I prepared for the launch of CS5, I questioned whether Adobe could possibly improve their page layout program InDesign from CS4 to CS5. They can. And did.

I've been using InDesign since the initial Creative Suite. This is by far the biggest upgrade Adobe has ever made to InDesign. They've taken an already solid page layout program and added amazing new features!

Interactive documents in InDesign CS5.

Ease of Use
The great thing about Adobe is if you have used one of their programs, you are familiar with all their others. All the menus, options and features are placed exactly where the user would expect. If you own Photoshop, Illustrator or some other Adobe product, you should have no trouble at all maneuvering through InDesign's user-friendly interface.

In fact, I believe this is the most user-friendly version of InDesign I have ever seen. No longer does the user have to jump through hoops to adjust page size. No more will we create outlines of our text so that the printer can read them. No more will our pages require a programming degree to add interactivity to them.

Adobe, you just saved me a ton of time. Thank you.

InDesign CS5 gives users the option of choosing paragraph layout.
