If you're not a 'plug and play' type, don't fret. Zaxwerks has tons of tutorial content on their site, both in video form and in PDF form. The PDF can walk you through a simple project to start with, in less than two pages. That should remove some of the trepidation from your mind about picking up a 3D titling program.

Depth of Options
There are a number of options available to you within Invigorator Pro. You can start by simply typing text, picking your font, and adding some dimension. The interface is simple to use, allowing you to drag and drop the settings you like onto each of your letters or objects. If you have created a logo in Adobe Illustrator, you can import it directly into Invigorator Pro and make it 3D in a snap. Importing 3D models that were created in different programs is just as easy.
I've found that the difficult part with this, and probably with any 3D program, is working the camera. It's tough to time your moves, and you'll probably run through the move several times before you get it just right. It's much like the 3D camera in After Effects. However, there are some simple animation settings you can use that will set the camera very quickly, if you are looking for something less specific that you can finish quickly.

Performance
With the few projects I did quickly with Zaxwerks Invigorator Pro, I can say that the performance is amazing. It's really a simple interface within After Effects, and it's ability to import projects from Illustrator or other existing 3D design programs is really fantastic. More than all of that, the rendering time is very impressive. It can take advantage of open GL graphics cards, and works very quickly. Even if you are really meticulous with your camera movements, you won't get frustrated with all of the rendering time. It's similar to multiple layer rendering in After Effects, which is crazy fast considering it's 3D rendering.
