The Chameleon is a Five-In-One portable reflector kit.

A light reflector is one of the most basic lighting tools available to filmmakers and photographers alike. A reflector is used to redirect light toward a given subject or scene. By using available light a filmmaker saves vast amounts of money and can work fast and on the fly.

The Chameleon is a lightweight silfoil-style, circular, steel framed reflector system which folds compactly into a disk approximately one-third its in-use size for easy transport and storage. Unlike conventional reflectors, however, the Chameleon features a removable, reversible cover which allows for five uniquely functional surfaces in three separate configurations: Black on one side for blocking unwanted light or for use as negative fill with silver Mylar on the other for reflecting cool brilliant light. Invert the cover for White as a soft bounce and Gold to reflect warm hard light. Remove the cover completely and reveal a single white synthetic silk panel for soft, diffused lighting.

The Photogenic Chameleon kit helps eliminate the need for multiple reflectors, silks, and solids. The compact nature and light-weight construction makes this an easy addition to anyone’s filmmaking tool kit.

Ease of Use
This product is very user friendly and easy to use. Essentially, all you have to do is unzip the pouch and pull out the reflector and give it a shake and it pops open. The different reflective surfaces are on a separate cover that just unzips and is reversible. Close the reflector by simply twisting the edges opposite one another and it folds down. This may take a few tries but is very easy when you understand how it goes down.

The Chameleon is only two pounds so it is very light and when it is collapsed it is only 15” inches wide and two inches thick so it can be stored and carried very easily. All in all, there is no real learning curve and virtually anyone could use this product.
