Apple Immersive Video is a brand-new storytelling format that leverages 8K, 3D video with a 180-degree field of view, and Spatial Audio to transport viewers to the center of the action. Meta’s The Faceless Lady VR Series Graded with DaVinci Resolve Studio
Blackmagic Design today announced that Supervising Colorist Jeff Sousa of Brooklyn, NY based post studio Dungeon Beach used DaVinci Resolve Studio for color grading “The Faceless Lady,” Meta’s first live action VR television series. With Los Angeles based post house Light Sail VR hosting the project, Sousa relied on Blackmagic Cloud to collaborate with the Light Sail VR team while grading six 22 minute episodes of 8K stereo content.

Blackmagic Design today announced DaVinci Resolve 19 beta 3 now supports Qualcomm’s new all in one CPU, NPU and GPU processor for Windows, Snapdragon X Elite. DaVinci Resolve has been fine tuned to optimize performance of the DaVinci Neural AI Engine, with NPU acceleration giving customers up to 4.7x faster performance of AI tools such as magic mask and 2x faster performance for smart reframe on computers using this new processor.
