Blackmagic Design today announced that Los Angeles based Voxx Studios, one of the top audio post and localization houses, has created a new service using Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K that synchs voice over talent’s audio work with video of their facial acting.
Blackmagic Design today announced that Facebook Watch’s “Simone vs Herself” was completed using Pocket Cinema Camera 4K to shoot a variety of scenes in the seven part docuseries highlighting Simone Biles’ return to the Olympics. DaVinci Resolve Studio was also used for color correction of the docuseries as well.
In an effort to support first-time and indie filmmakers through the height of the pandemic, DPA Microphones partnered with Rycote on a “Pay-it-Forward” giveaway in late 2020 from which three lucky winners acquired a full cinema mics kit from the brands. Blackmagic Design today announced that New York based post house Irving Harvey used DaVinci Resolve Studio to grade the award winning documentary “Not Going Quietly.” The software’s real time collaboration tools also helped support Colorist Samuel Gursky’s remote workflow for the film.
