Blackmagic Design today announced that live action production and visual effects (VFX) company SoKrispyMedia recently completed work on its newest viral video, “Trapped in a First Person Video Game,” using DaVinci Resolve Studio 18 editing, color grading, VFX and audio post production software, along with Blackmagic Cloud.
The Gilded Age Uses URSA Mini Pro 12K for VFX
Blackmagic Design today announced that a Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K digital film camera was used to capture visual effects (VFX) plates for the HBO drama series “The Gilded Age.” VFX Supervisor Lesley Robson-Foster also used a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K as a witness camera for the period drama that transports New York City back to 1882.
NOUVELLE VAGUE Installs Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 for Its New Streaming Studio
Blackmagic Design today announced that Tokyo based production company NOUVELLE VAGUE has opened “n00b.st,” a new streaming studio in Shibuya, which was built around a number of Blackmagic products, including four Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 cameras and Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pros. The facility is equipped with a large LED display, enabling virtual production within camera VFX and remote production via IP transmission.
Academy Award Best International Feature Film Drive My Car Graded with DaVinci Resolve Studio
Blackmagic Design today announced that “Drive My Car,” an award winning feature film directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi, was graded using DaVinci Resolve Studio editing, color grading, visual effects (VFX) and audio post production software. The grading was done by Yumeto Kitayama, colorist at IMAGICA Entertainment Media Services, Inc.
