Award Winning High School Film Tsiiyééł Created with Blackmagic Design Cameras and DaVinci Resolve Studio

Blackmagic Design today announced that high school filmmakers from the Flagstaff Bordertown Dormitory in Arizona, working with the University of Arizona’s School of Theatre, Film and Television, used Blackmagic Design digital film cameras and DaVinci Resolve Studio editing, grading, visual effects (VFX) and audio post production software to create the film Tsiiyééł. Since its completion the film has been shown at ten international film festivals, including imagineNATIVE, the world’s largest indigenous film festival.

Independent Feature FIRST Shot and Finished with Blackmagic Design

Blackmagic Design today announced that the independent feature film “FIRST” was shot with Blackmagic Design cameras, and edited, completed visual effects and graded using DaVinci Resolve Studio editing, grading, visual effects (VFX) and audio post production software. The film, codirected and coproduced by Jahmela Yarbrough and Brandon Yarbrough, was shot by Cinematographer Will Novy. The film recently premiered at the Academy Awards© qualifying Pan African Film Festival.

Studio Goose Brings Country Is Calling Campaign to Life with DaVinci Resolve Studio and Blackmagic Cloud

Blackmagic Design today announced that the Sydney based production company Studio Goose used DaVinci Resolve Studio for grading, editing, VFX and audio post production, along with Blackmagic Cloud, to help create the “Country Is Calling” commercial campaign for the Northern Territory Tourism Board. With production and post production talent spread around Australia, Studio Goose used a Blackmagic Cloud and a DaVinci proxy workflow to create a collaborative workflow.
