Blackmagic Design today announced that nonprofit Women’s Audio Mission (WAM) has implemented Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus G2s and ATEM Mini live production switcher to support video production as part of its podcast workflow, as well as for live streamed events and workshops. With 15 to 20 paid studio projects a month, including multi day band recordings, audiobooks, and podcasts, WAM has seen the demand for video increase by 50 percent in just the last year.
Zombie Repellent Created With Blackmagic Camera and Blackmagic Cloud
Blackmagic Design today announced that New Zealand Sons Film’s new film, “Zombie Repellent,” was completed with DaVinci Resolve Studio, Blackmagic Cloud and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2 digital cinema cameras. As part of the post production process, the filmmakers also used a number of DaVinci Resolve Neural Engine AI tools, including Face Refinement and UltraNR noise reduction.
The Ninth Order Completed With URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 and Fairlight
Blackmagic Design today announced that “The Ninth Order,” a supernatural film by father/son filmmaking duo Nick and Jess Ahern, has completed a global film festival circuit, which included being shown at 20 festivals and winning more than a dozen awards. The film was shot entirely using various Blackmagic Design cameras, with post production completed using DaVinci Resolve Studio for color correction, audio, editing and VFX work.
Do I Know You From Somewhere? Shot with URSA Mini Pro 12K
Blackmagic Design today announced that the sci fi romantic comedy “Do I Know You From Somewhere?,” directed by Arianna Martinez, was shot using a Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K digital film camera. The film, captured in Blackmagic RAW, explores the alternate reality of a missed connection and had its global debut at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Oscar® Nominated Film A Lien Graded with DaVinci Resolve Studio
Blackmagic Design today announced that the Oscar® nominated film “A Lien” was graded by Colorist Dante Pasquinelli of ETHOS Studio using DaVinci Resolve Studio editing, color grading, visual effects (VFX) and audio post production software, along with a DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel.
