Camera & Lighting giant changes ownership.

(October 2012) — Robert Arnold, the son of one of the co-founders, is selling his 50 per cent
share to the grandchildren of co-founders Richter/Stahl. Both families have shared responsibility
for the company since it was founded 95 years ago.

The globally active company, previously run by both families, will now be in the sole
responsibility of the Richter/Stahl family. The Stahl family has expressed its intention to
continue pursuing the media business of ARRI in the Bavarian film and media industry
as well as internationally.

ARRI has a global presence with offices in Australia, Canada, the USA, Italy, the UK,
Hong Kong and China (Beijing office opened in early 2012) and more than 50 service and
support partners worldwide.

With the introduction of the ALEXA digital camera in 2010 and the current generation of
LED L7 lighting fixtures, ARRI is at the forefront of technological progress in the film industry.
In addition, ARRI has a global network of rental offices in Munich, Berlin, Cologne, Leipzig,
Los Angeles, New York, Miami, London, Vienna, Budapest and Prague.
